Mali & Tom - A Relaxed, Romantic Gisburne Park Woodland Wedding - Lancashire Wedding Photography

Capturing Mali and Tom's wedding at Gisburne Park was nothing short of magical. Nestled within idyllic surroundings, their big day began with a charmingly unique ceremony held in a tipi down a secluded wooded path. It was the epitome of romance, with gentle summer rain serenading the union, creating an ambiance straight out of a fairytale. As if a sign from the heavens, when the couple emerged, the rain ceased, and the sun broke through, casting a golden ray over their joyous faces.

I arrive dSaturday morning to a beautilly calm bridal suite as attentions were all on the couple’s baby Rosie, who remained centre stage in every part of the day! Rosie was an absolute DREAM and I loved Mali & Tom struck a perfect balance of including her but also making sure she was well cared for by wonderful Laura, their wedding nanny from The Wedding Childcare Company so that they could spend plenty of time with their uests.

The festivities that followed were drenched in joy and laughter, thanks to Mali and Tom's impeccable planning and the presence of 75 carefully chosen close family and friends. We showered the newlyweds with confetti, each piece floating through the sun-drenched air, adding a whimsical touch to the perfect scene. The entire day was spent on the lush lawns, where guests lounged comfortably, played games, and relished in the love that permeated the atmosphere.

One of the highlights was undoubtedly the heartfelt speeches that brought tears and laughter in equal measure. The spirited bouquet toss followed, a delightful tradition executed with Mali's unmistakable charm.

Music played an integral role throughout the day, mirroring the couple's deep love and thoughtfulness. Their friend Harvey's acoustic duo set a tender tone for the ceremony and reception drinks. The transition to entertainment saw Flat Cap Brass take over, infusing the celebration with fun and energy through their contemporary brass covers.

As evening descended, Mali and Tom graced the dance floor for their first dance to Prince's iconic "Purple Rain.” The romantic melodies and the couple’s beautiful movements created a moment so poignant, it felt as though time stood still.

Every photograph I took encapsulated the spirit of the day – amazing, fun, and an absolute ball for everyone involved. Capturing the effervescent joy of Mali and Tom's wedding at Gisburne Park was a privilege, and it stands as a testament to the love and happiness shared on that unforgettable day. Special shout out to Tracey & the team at Gisburne Park for making my first wedding there an absolute DREAM, I can’t wait to come back!
