Lucy & Liam - A Rustic Chic Barn Wedding at Stock Farm - Cheshire Wedding Photography

There’s something happening in the wedding industry - the trend for excellence is growing stronger and I’ve noticed this year that every single wedding supplier I’ve worked with has truly stepped up their game - accordingly it’s make me push myself ever harder, wanting to due justice to their incredible artistry and efforts. 2019 marks my fourth season working full-time as a wedding photographer in the North West of England and every year I find myself absorbing new knowledge and experiences like a sponge. Weddings are no longer just one thing anymore - tradition lays the groundwork but when you assemble a team of amazing wedding suppliers and give us free rein to execute the vision of your day, magic can happen.

This is exactly the case for the WONDERFUL Lucy & Liam who were married yesterday at the exciting new wedding venue in the heart of Cheshire, Stock Farm. Lucy had such a clear vision for her wedding day - when she initially visited Stock Farm amidst their extensive renovations and building works (before they’d even hosted a wedding!!), all she saw was potential! Dressed to perfection by the UNREAL Sasha of Sassflower and accented by blossom trees from thornton events, Stock Farm’s impressive open-plan barn was a vision of greenery and tea lights, edison bulbs and intricately hand-lettered signage by Cheshire artist Myro. No detail was missed - from the Game of Thrones inspired table plan to the nuptial-themed mini golf on the lawn (a nod to groom Liam’s love of golf), the personalised wooden coasters (lettered by Myro of course) for each of the 90+ guests - and I’ve not even got to the FOOD! The couple opted for a FEAST of Brasilian barbecue by Stock Farm recommended caterers The Flaming Gourmand who even had their smoked and grilled meats sliced from skewers at the tables by waiters in a nice bit of gastronomical theatre.

Lucy & Liam truly created the most epic, beautifully designed wedding in a stunning setting and it provided a perfect backdrop for this sweet, loving couple’s celebration of their life together. Featuring the most hilarious best man’s speech/groom roast and with their wonderful family and friends (and dogs!) dancing and drinking the night away, I cannot think of a more fitting start to the next phase of their adventure together and I was honoured to have been entrusted with their memories..what a magical day we had, THANK YOU for having me along guys. Here’s your sneak peek!
