Jordan & Sam - A Festival-Themed Spring Cottage Wedding of Dreams - Spring Cottage Café Wedding

I’ve seen you in my dreams, honey
Watched you in my sleep
We were drinking in the bars, darlin’
Dancing down the street
I’ve seen you in my dreams, honey
Watched you in my sleep
— The Courteeners

Jordan and Sam got married at Spring Cottage Café, which is the most amazing field to table family-owned café in nestled into the forest in Rivington with a pretty garden. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun shone all day long!

The ceremony was an intimate service under a covered alter. During the ceremony they had a beautiful reading by Jordan’s mum Jo. It was such a personal service followed by an epic confetti send-off.

They decorated the area with so much colour thanks to incredible floral displays by Hollie at Moss LForal Artistry, which I loved. The reception was in a marquee at Spring Cottage Café – I love this venue because you can totally personalise it. Weddings at Spring Cottage Café are amazing, because it’s always so relaxed and personal - they truly make you feel like you're at your own home away from home. Spring Cottage Café is perfect for anyone who loves the outdoors, and is one of the coolest places to get married in Bolton. The venue offers the most perfect purpose-built marquee and a diverse menu offering that you can totally make your own – and there are loads of amazing places that are perfect for photos.

The couple had a drinks reception in the afternoon, and a pizza truck in the evening. The over-arching theme from start to finish was 'Sunterfest' - a play on their new married name and a love letter to their adoration of music festivals. From the personalised wristbands on arrival in the awesome vintage VW buses to the vibrant floral displays, the Glasto-themed signage dotted around to the tables named after their favourite bands, this indie-mad couple truly thought of EVERYTHING. For dinner they had grazing boards stretching the length of the tables, served family-style with salads and antipasti, and the first dance was an acoustic performance of their favourite Courteeners' song Small Bone performed by their dear friend Phil McArdle and segued into the banger 'You're Not 19 Forever'. They finished off the evening with sparklers and one hell of a festival dance party.

Jordan wore a traditional white gown and Sam wore a three-piece suit and they looked really incredible. Whilst much of the day was a non-traditional expression of who they are and their love of music, their outfits were a stunning classic contrast.I loved so much that Jordan's squad of bridesmaids were able to choose their own dresses just on a brief of 'colourful and floral'.The whole bridal party was just awesome.

I have truly had the most wonderful time getting to know Jordan & Sam and their AMAZING family & friends. What a gift it is to find love in this world - to share your life with another who knows you in your bones and sees your soul with theirs. I love Jordan & Sam's love story so so much - here's a sneak peek of what we got up to...
