I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Capricorn and Andy's beautiful wedding at Merrydale Manor in Cheshire this past Saturday. It was a picturesque October day, with the sun gracing us with its warmth and golden glow—ideal for an outdoor wedding celebration.
The couple's choice of classic white and cream florals filled the ceremony room with elegance and sophistication, creating a dreamy atmosphere accentuated by the gentle flicker of countless candles. This serene setting perfectly matched Capricorn and Andy's vision for their special day, offering an intimate and welcoming feel that enveloped their loved ones as they exchanged vows. The happy couple’s gorgeous daughters walked down the aisle ahead of Capricorn and this blended family felt complete.
As the ceremony ended, the guests took full advantage of the glorious weather, mingling outside during the drinks reception. It was an ideal opportunity to capture candid moments, smiles, and laughter among family and friends. Collaborating with the talented James Wray on videography, we immortalized these precious memories while amidst the beautiful landscapes of Merrydale Manor.
The celebration took an energetic turn as the wedding party moved indoors for the wedding breakfast. The guests were in for a treat with Phil, the wedding host, who worked his magic to elevate the excitement and joy in the room. With fun games, singalongs, and even a lively conga line between courses, the room was alive with infectious cheerfulness and camaraderie. The atmosphere was electric—and the guests truly had a ball!
As twilight descended, Capricorn and Andy stole a moment away from the festivities to capture some enchanting nighttime portraits. The day beautifully transitioned into night, but the energy from their loved ones remained unwavering.
Inside, the newlyweds wowed everyone with a pyrotechnic-laden first dance that set the tone for an evening of revelry. After a quick outfit change and a little jumping on the bed, I knew I was leaving them in great spirits to continue the party into the wee hours.
