Over the ten years I’ve been photographing weddings, I've had the pleasure of capturing countless memorable moments. However, Calia & Domm's two-day wedding celebration stands out as a truly unique and perfectly personal event.

For Calia and Domm, the celebrations began on a Friday at the Manchester registry office. It was an intimate affair witnessed by their closest family members. As they exchanged vows and made their commitment official, an overwhelming sense of love and unity filled the room.

However, the festivities didn't end there. The following day, the couple threw a grand celebration at Grub in Red Bank, creating an atmosphere filled with love and laughter. This vibrant venue provided the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable gathering, complete with mouthwatering food and entertainment for all ages.
Calia and Domm wanted to ensure that their big day was not only about them but also about creating a joyful experience for their guests. The party was expertly catered by Kit:ch and Amy’s signature grazing platters, offering a delightful array of scrumptious bites that pleased both young and old. Additionally, the couple decided to introduce a twist to their menu by incorporating lasagna from Ornella's Kitchen, bringing the flavours of Italy to their special day. The day then kicked up a notch with some Disco Bingo, a kid’s dance party in the cinema and some good old-fashioned partying.

As the sun started to set, Twisted Tubes took the stage, serenading the crowd with their lively music - and an upbeat Luther Vandross tune as the first dance. The combination of infectious beats and the energy of 30 toddlers taking over the dance floor created an atmosphere of pure joy and celebration. Every click of the camera captured the laughter, twirls, and love that filled the air.

Photographing this wonderful family was an absolute pleasure. The genuine smiles, the loving embraces, and the raw emotions were all eloquently displayed in every frame. Witnessing the love and happiness that radiated from Calia and Domm, as well as their cherished guests, was truly inspiring.

Calia and Domm's two-day wedding celebration was a testament to the power of love and the importance of cherishing those closest to us. I feel honoured to have been a part of this magical journey, capturing the essence of their love and creating beautiful memories that will last a lifetime. Over the past few months, I have adored getting to know the effervescent Calia and her sweetheart Domm, along with 3-year-old Malo who took his best man duties VERY seriously (Pokemon backpack and all!). Saturday’s festivities felt like hanging out with old friends and I cannot thank them enough for welcoming me so warmly.
