Liam & Mabel - A Relaxed, Emotional Larkspur Lodge Wedding - Cheshire Wedding Photography

The temperature is dropping, the leaves are changing, the kids are back at school and I’m craving all things pumpkin spice…it’s my very favourite season, AUTUMN IS HERE! After a relatively quiet August (following a manic summer of epic wedding amazingness), I’m back and refreshed and ready for a busy second half of the year.

First up is yesterday’s STUNNING Larkspur Lodge wedding of Liam & Mabel. These beauties only got engaged in February THIS YEAR but were just so excited to get married…they found their dream venue in Larkspur Lodge, a brand new venue from the incredible team behind the iconic Knutsford wedding venue, The Belle Epoque (RIP) and planned to perfection a super-chilled early autumn wedding filled with beautiful food, lawn games, plenty of gin and one KILLER sunset. Parents to two amazing little boys, Liam & Mabel are the ultimate team and it was so important to them that Joey & Will were included in the day. With a noon ceremony, they day stretched ahead but there never felt like there was a lull - their intimate celebration felt comfortable and pleasant and it was awesome getting to know their wonderful family whilst the boys (and flower girl Isla) tried out croquet next to a very competitive game of bowls.

Only hosting weddings for the past year after the very sad closure of the beloved Belle Epoque, Larkspur Lodge is a BEAUTIFUL Cheshure wedding venue, tucked down a quiet lane next to a geese farm on the fringes of Knutsford. But with the same offbeat decor, attention to detail and INCREDIBLE staff, Larkspur Lodge was an absolute dream to shoot - they truly provide a very special wedding experience. And as the sun began to set and Mabel & Liam’s evening guests arrived, the atmosphere buzzed to the soulful beats of the Radio Kings. As I was leaving, the party was kicking off…it really was a day (and night!) to remember.
