Jodie & Danny: An Elegant Jewel Toned Autumn Knowsley Hall Wedding

October wedding? TICK! October wedding in an iconic stately home?? DOUBLE TICK! October wedding in an iconic stately home, accented with sumptuous jewel tones, daschund references, a jaw-dropping Pronovias off-shoulder gown and some of the MOST hilarious and fun bridal party members?? THIS WEDDING WAS THE DREAM!!

From the moment I met the incredibly sweet Jodie and Danny, we literally never stopped laughing.  Beginning with our initial Skype chat to their gorgeous Fletcher Moss pre-wedding shoot and the day itself, the ease and delight that these two so obviously have with each other makes so so many more naturally loving moments...in short, they're a photographer's dream! After that first meeting though, I started thinking about how to properly convey that ease tangible joy.  Whilst I'm a photographer first, I had been looking at ways to push my business even further so that I may truly tell the full story of a wedding day from all angles.  Enter the lovely Amy! Amy has been second shooting for me from the very beginning but over the last year, she's been making a huge splash with her videography skills.  Her unobtrusive, gentle approach, her light editing touch and eye for detail make her the perfect fit for my own vision of how I want  to capture a wedding and give couples the option to relive their day through both still and moving pictures.

Amy was due to second shoot Jodie & Danny's wedding for me anyway so we thought it would actually be the perfect opportunity (with their permission of course!) to trial the idea of a highlights film alongside my still photography.  With the amazing setting of Knowsley Hall - even the persistent rain couldn't keep us from showing off the gorgeous decor...we even managed to sneak out during a break in the showers to take a quick walk on the grounds! Knowsley Hall wedding photography varies so much because of how rich the space is and when you have a playful, fun-loving couple like Jodie & Danny the results can be spectacular.
