I’m not really sure if my words could do justice to how wonderful Kate is, but I’ll give it a go...

When me and Nick decided to elope, having a wedding photographer was extremely important to us, to capture our day to share with family and friends. After our first Skype chat with Kate, we both immediately knew she was the one for us (added bonus that Kate had eloped herself and really understood our vision for the day) Kate made us feel special throughout the whole process, despite our wedding being super small and laid back, we really felt we were given a service above and beyond. Kate was so friendly, knowledgeable and made lots of helpful suggestions. We met her a few weeks before our big day to go through the last bits and meet face to face which was so lovely and made us feel a lot more at ease. On the day of our wedding, Kate helped me into my dress, drove us to our venue and then again drove us round some of our favourite spots in the lakes to take our pictures. It truly felt like we were spending time with a friend we had known for years and we are so happy that she was there to share our day with us. Kate worked really hard in ensuring we had our sneak peak that evening to allow us to share some pictures with our families and she also respected our privacy and didn’t put any photos online until we had told everyone. You may think this is where Kate’s duties ended...but in fact she took my bridal bouquet home with her and kept it at her house in water for me to pick up from her home after our mini break to France so that I could take back home with me to keep forever (and show my Mum.) We can’t recommend Kate enough, she is a highly talented photographer, all round lovely person and a joy to have around. Our wedding pictures are absolutely beautiful and we are so thrilled with them. They captured us and the day perfectly. If you are thinking of hiring Kate, go for it, you will not regret it!
