What a beautiful day it was to photograph Karis and Kieran's wedding at the enchanting Sandhole Oak Barn in Congleton. Though the weather forecast predicted rain, we were blessed with stunning sunny skies after a bit of a grey start to June. It felt as if the universe itself had conspired to smile down on this lovely couple, making everyone present seriously overjoyed. The venue was an absolute dream, transformed with elegant greenery and twinkling tealights by Extra Fleur events. The talented stylist, who also attended as a guest, added a personal touch that made every corner come alive with enchantment. Karis and Kieran’s wedding was a true labour of love, evident in every minute detail. It was my first time capturing the truly idyllic Sandhole Oak Barn and I certainly hope it’s not my last!

A particularly heartwarming sight was the happy couple’s two adorable children, impeccably poised as the page boy and flower girl. The bridesmaids, groomsmen, and don’t forget bridesman Dan, were in high spirits, their joy infectious. This happiness permeated through every part of the day, seeming to promise a lifetime of similar exhilaration and jubilation for Karis and Kieran. These dreamboats met and fell in love in the most perfect meet-cute, with KAris crushing from afar for years before Kieran got the hint and took her out. The rest, of course, is history.

A deeply emotional moment was when we snuck out for a few photographs next to Michael's old car, Karis’s brother who tragically passed away eight years ago. Many moving tributes were made in his honour throughout the day, making the photos with his car all the more significant. The heartfelt speeches brought tears to many eyes and laughter throughout the beautifully laid out barn. As day turned to night, the dance floor was perpetually packed, a testament to the incredible vibe and love that filled the room.

This wedding was pure magic from start to finish, imbued with sincere emotions and beautiful moments. Karis and Kieran's big day was a testament to love, family, and the endless possibilities of new beginnings. Capturing it all through my lens was not just a job, but a true honour.
