Shauna and Daniel got married at The Midland Hotel, which is one of the most iconic buildings in Manchester City Centre with elaborate decor. It was the most beautiful wedding and the sun even made an appearance!

The ceremony was a legal ceremony in the stunningly panelled Lancaster Suite with rich tones perfectly complementing the subtly autumnal vibe. During the ceremony they had several beautiful readings from friends and family. It was such a personal service.

They decorated the area with pumpkins and balloons and so much greenery, which I loved. The reception was just next door in the Trafford Suite at The Midland Hotel – I love this venue because it has so many great opportunities for portraits. Weddings at The Midland Hotel are amazing, because the surroundings are literally the entirety of Manchester including the striking town hall, Central Library and St. Peter's Square.

The Midland Hotel is perfect for couples who want a big party, and is one of the loveliest places to get married in Manchester City Centre. The venue offers onsite bedrooms so guests don’t have to leave early – and there are so many beautiful spots that are perfect for photos.

The couple had a cocktail drinks reception in the afternoon, and a live band in the evening. Shauna's dad Alan had cheekily arranged for singing waiters to perform during the meal, unbeknownst to the happy cojuple or any other guests,so it was amazing to see their reactions when the penny dropped! For dinner they had a slap up meal, and the first dance was to their favourite song. They finished off the evening with a conga line and the most epic dance party. Both dads are former DJs so it was only fitting for them to perform a set between the first dance and the band starting. I LOVED their energy and it truly packed out the dance floor!

Shauna wore a traditional white gown and Daniel wore a dapper tuxedo and they looked really incredible. I loved that everyone embraced the glamour of the venue and even their daughter Clodagh was dressed as a mini-bridesmaid!

From start to finish, Shauna & Daniel’s long-planned wedding day was an absolute dream to capture and I had the BEST time! Always a bonus to work alongside the incredibly talented James Wray Wedding Films as well, we always have such a laugh! I cannot thank the happy couple and their amazing families enough for looking after me so well, SHauna & Daniel were so so much fun to photograph and I’m thrilled to share thier sneak peek with you all…
