The connections I forge with the wonderful couples who book me make the long hours and crazy editing marathons so so worth it - the time FLIES by on the day because I’m so so invested in telling your story and not missing a thing that it truly doesn’t feel like work. Working full-time as a wedding photographer for the past 4 years has taken me to some of the most beautiful places and to work with some of the very best wedding professionals in the the industry - yesterday was just a perfect example of why I love my job so much. I had the very great pleasure of capturing the amazing Simone & Brian’s dreamy summer wedding at the award-winning Mitton Hall in the heart of the Ribble Valley.

From the moment I Skyped with Sim & Bri whilst they were living and working in Canada but planning their perfect English wedding from thousands of miles away, it was like re-coneecting with old friends. They were so lovely and open and warm and I knew that we were going to LOVE hanging out at their wedding. And seriously I wasn’t disappointed because it turns out that lovely warm people attract crowds of lovely warm people - all of their friends and family were JUST like them: welcoming, generous, hilarious and so so much fun.

Supported by coordinator Jen and her INCREDIBLE Mitton Hall team (did I mention award-winning??) and hosted to perfection by the extraordinary Danny Finn, the new Mr. & Mrs. Williams assembled a cracking team of some of the very best wedding suppliers in the North West and the day ran like clockwork as the lazy June sun bore down on the day, wrapping the merry guests in a perfect summer glow of wedding joy.

I had the BEST day but couldn’t have done it without the flawless Mitton Hall team plus my right-hand woman Jenn second shooting for me and catching all of those extra angles and gorgeous natural reportage shots. Shout out to the guys of Furious Styles for keeping the tunes going and the dance floor busy!
